This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high speed Internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours 5 minutes to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Cancellation/ Refund Policy CPR/All Youth Services program and classes/ Consulting and Mental Health Counseling sessions. Cancelling a Class or Appointment, Late or not showing up. If a class/consult/course is cancelled within 48 hours from the class start date- the deposit/Retainer will be kept. However the remaining portion can be refunded to the customer if they choose not to reschedule. Retainers are $100.00 for courses, $35.00 for CPR classes and $50.00 for Babysitters academy. If the class is cancelled within 36 hours, 24 hours or same day cancellations, no refunds will be permitted at all including deposit/Retainer. There are no exceptions. In House Cancellations/ Rescheduling If classes are cancelled by our team; you may reschedule for another date with no penalty. If you choose to not accept a different date(s), a partial refund will be issued which means you will forfeit your deposit/Retainer. Classes may be cancelled for issues related to: inclement weather, State emergencies, State closings, Road closings & emergencies within our meeting place i.e. Building lock down, fire, no electricity, Private health matters, Dangerous situations etc.… All classes will be rescheduled within a timely manner. In all cases, the deposit/retainer is non-refundable. Please review your desired service as each Service will have its own listed deposit amount. Billing: No show/ Cancel fees are $65.00 for Therapeutic Services. Copays and Self Pay fees are due at time of service. All insurance will be verified prior to the appointment so please have your current Insurance cards if utilizing insurance. Please note: if insurance claims are denied the bill will be sent to the person responsible for payments. If insurance issues arise that is beyond the scope of practice of Urban Light, the Guardian or Insured must contact the insurance company to verify the coverage issues.
